Metra was the opposite this morning... They cancelled trains which then meant the ones left were crammed full. I'm one of the last stops before downtown, and they started skipping my station since the trains were so full.

I like how they are keeping the polar bear at the zoo inside since it's so cold. Apparently since it's not in to the cold temps regularly, it doesn't have the fat layers of wild ones to be able to handle it. Still funny.

It was -50 with the windchill yesterday. Very few jobs have parking, not to mention many people just flat out don't have car. We depend on public transit to get around, and it that weather the switches for trains stop working.

I've only been here for 5 winters now, and this one is by far the worst. More snow and much colder.

She's awk sitting on a black stool, which is reflecting in the light. It has a couple weird things going on down there.

A guy I used to know crashed his yellow Cobalt... And proceeded to get a massive yellow Cobalt *with wings* tattooed on his back. It's also a poor quality tattoo.

I've heard of some work being cancelled, but the case seems to be more often (at least now) that you're expected to be there. I've also heard a lot of "Work isn't cancelled, but if you don't feel safe commuting in the weather, stay home, it's ok." which uh, who is going to go then?

I'm the same way, sorta. My parents kept the catalog from ever getting into my hands, so I had no idea about the dolls until I was well past the age of wanting one. They were not cheap!

At least you got to look at the catalog... I had the books, but my mom never even let me know that the dolls existed. She intercepted the catalogs before I got to see them.

Meh, I love my 06 Cobalt wheel. That nice little spoke at 5 and 7 is perfect for one hand driving while cruising around.

Yeah, I just use the passenger seat. Things got awk one night when I zoned out and forgot I had a passenger... Whoops.

Nope! There's an idiot light that will come on, but no read out anywhere to see what the temp is.

I know of a road course that has a "party bus" that is full of beanbags and other not attached seating...
