If you need to hire a lawyer for something as straightforward as citizenship application, you’ve already done at least one the shady things listed above, and therefore justifiably have no grounds to expect dual citizenship.

The US allows dual citizenship.

Pretty much every single nation except for some African countries allow dual citizenship.
I dunno, Lilith Sternin can give Paris a run for her money.
No, she was never a citizen because you can’t get a citizenship card without a birth certificate. And I say this as a naturalized Canadian.
Thanks for posting that video, and for making that argument.
I’m not saying that they don’t exist. I’m saying it’s colossally dumb to be eligible for citizenship in a country that allows multiple citizenships and not take advantage of that, especially if that country is your home.
I called you a dumbass for living in the country for 20 years (11 years or whatever that number is now) and not getting your citizenship. I didn’t call you a dumbass for your choice to take your time and make an informed decision as to who should get your vote.
I don’t think it’s my business. I posed the question because the facts disclosed cast doubt on a person that’s politically engaged. Politically engaged immigrants make a point of ensuring their right to vote.
Wait, you’ve been in the country for 29 years and yet are a RECENT citizen?
Whatever policy disagreements the Democratic candidates have, our supporters are much more respectful overall.
I can’t say I have seen this in the Jezebel or Gawker comments.
That being said, I think HRC supporters mirror Hillary far more than Bernie supporters mirror him.
To be fair, shoes sizes aren’t standard. So you can measure your foot all you want, a size in one brand is not going to match to a size in another brand.
Investment? It’s not like you’re wearing them to get a job you otherwise wouldn’t get wearing other shoes. And since you can’t walk in them all day, they can’t be worn as work shoes.
They’re not an investment in the usual sense of the word at all. The only investment here is your happiness.
Um, if you read the article, she claims that wearing cheap shoes for a movie she did about a working mom ruined her feet. So if she’s trashing anything, it’s cheap shoes that working moms wear, according to her.
I think the materials count more than the brand name. Leather shoes last a long time (sorry vegeterians and vegans).
Newsflash - that’s valid for ALL high paying jobs in ANY industry. People hire their friends, and upon recommendations, not talent.
A $2000+ Mac is hardly cheap.
I doubt that this is the room of a college student.
You’re right; Being a reactionary so you can win over that most prized audience, the Anonymous Internet Commenter, is a much better life management strategy.
I think you’re forgetting that Gawker’s vast audience is teenagers and college students who think everything is fresh.
