Congratulations! I had my daughter on the 20th, first for us as well. I’m exhausted and no joke about all the time spent feeding!

I have friends in Costa Rica and Curacao this week, posting all sorts of sand-sun-and-fun pictures while I had to drive on ice this week.

It’s not self-righteous or whiny to get the pay that you are owed! Even if it’s a small amount. Say something like:

My daughter used to do what I called the “snack and snooze”.  She was a really slow eater and used to doze off.  I think it was because she never liked pacifiers - she used me for that.

Should have had me for a teacher. You would have had a blast *and* learned something useful.
