I post this every time the iud comes up, just to offer a different perspective: I had the Paragard and it was a disaster. Pelvic pain, referred nerve pain in my thighs, and the string irritated my cervix and resulted in an abnormal pap and biopsy. It’s amazing if it works for your body, but if not, watch out.
