Anyone who’s ever played a MUD or played on a RP server in an MMO knows that the idea is often better than the execution. People are often less interested in creating a story and more interested in having their characters be the center of attention.

I try to follow that rule too. I’m pretty frugal, so I don’t buy something unless I played a demo, read up on it a lot, or it’s a franchise that I’m crazy about. Arkham Asylum series, Uncharted games, Zelda games, Elderscrolls games...those are basically the only ones I pre-order.
