“I’m convinced fear makes you more susceptible to belief and they know it and take advantage of it.”

That’s crazy. We had an old tree at our school, but it was one planted by Johnny Appleseed. So, not haunted, just kinda random.

This reads like a college senior creative writing submission.

Shit this is scary as fuck

I absolutely agree. As soon as I decided to not be (as) afraid, the thing didn’t fuck around as much. But the more afraid I felt, the worse it was. Crazy.

This is so upsetting. What reality show?

My wife was watching a TV documentary about some kind of wu-wu mindfulness self-hypnosis thing that was supposed to increase your consciousness, let you see the future, or recall your past lives or some kind of similar nonsense.

This reminded me of my most terrifying camping trip ever. We were camping near Pacific City on the Oregon coast years ago and noticed there had recently been bear sightings. All of a sudden I got a very clear thought in my head that I should not “call” on people when “inappropriately shod.” (It had rained that day and I

I thought I would share a story of my dad’s. Our family has many stories where none of us can quite explain it, to non skeptics we believe we are definitely clairvoyant to some degree. My parents tell me stories from when I was younger, I’m not as in tuned to it as they are but this story of my dads is from his days

I have a very gentle ghost story. I volunteer at the Merchant’s House Museum in the East Village. It’s known as the most haunted house in NYC and weird things happen there all the time. I truly adore the other volunteers and the museum itself—it’s the city’s only original brownstone and has all of the contents of the
