I understand what is being said, I'd prefer to say Mr. Harris is a combination of quite fortunate and quite talented. I'd assume he also works quite hard but I don't know that. There is certainly good fortune in anyone's success, but he is clearly very talented in his field. He is very professional in his delivery and

Funny you mention organized crime. NCAA basketball is a huge and easy racket for the mob and precisely because of the BS amateurish rules. By denying the players their rightful income they provide the ultimate point shaving opportunity in all of sports. Basketball is the easiest sport to shave points in and basketball

Very touching story. It sounds like he was a wonderful father. I'm sorry for your loss.

Nope just a guy accused of rape twice. I guess he did cut him... A year later when he was clearly not needed on the team.

This is different than saying "now I care because I have a daughter". When he added the part about whether a father would be ok with cheering for Hardy but would shoot him through the glass if he came to take his daughter out on a date, he was directly addressing the hypocrisy.

Outside of Brady, Peyton, Brees and Rodgers no other player presently in the game is worth paying any price. Those guys are worth so much that a team should be willing to theoretically pay anything. Of course there is still a limit to how much they should be paid because it can make the salary cap crunch impossible.

It does add intrigue at the expense of truly exceptional teams that existed in my youth. I can't say which is better.

They have two exceptional safeties...But Chancellor and Thomas have a combined cap hit of ~$13m for 2015. Sherman alone will have a $12.2m cap hit in 2015. Clearly the Seahawks see far greater value in a CB than a safety.

My take is that he couldn't care less about being marginally better next year and that is all they would become if they had paid what Maclin and McCoy got. Both very good players that any team would love to have but that does not matter. With the NFL salary cap every personnel decision has to be made relative to the

Maybe I've missed it but I've not seem any evidence that sexual assault is more prevalent on college campuses than away from campuses. I've seen some mention that sexual assault is more common away from college but I don't have any stats to back that up.

Can't get blood out of a turnip... Unless Mr. Olsen quit pro golf because he the lottery.

Both of you guys are right in a way.

Those people could be charged with obstruction of justice if they impeded the investigation.

I just reread the post and it never mentions guilt. It simply reports the fact that a person was arrested in connection with a crime and that the police say they have enough evidence to arrest this guy. Are you suggesting the police not make arrests or that news outlets not report on arrests?

I know I'm probably just not used to the new one, but I'm not a fan. It looks like they gave it the Lambo angular treatment. I'm a huge fan of the original. It is one of the most understated and unique cars ever designed. There is no mistaking it.

Meesa thinksa sumting wrong witha meesa lungs.

Call me when Muggsy throws down over Muresan. Preferably between the legs. Or maybe someone dunking Muggy himself. #seenitall

In fact, you could chalk up a good portion of the Peyton era and the start of the Luck era to the fact that the AFC South has been consistently the worst division in football. (In fairness, the AFC East hasn't been far behind, helping Brady/Belicheck over that same time)

I should have been more clear. I don't think the kids had a complete grasp of the fact that what they were doing was wrong. But when you suddenly pick up 5-6 kids from across the city and go from mediocre to top notch kids know. This happened over the past year so the changes altered the rosters significantly.

Yep, they all knew exactly where every kid was from and why they suddenly got the best players from these other areas.
