Grand-Am and now IMSA make BoP changes throughout the year, sometimes race to race. With a small series that has only a few different chassis/engine combinations, if one combination is significantly better than the others, the series will typically go down the toilet because of complete domination. It is the only way

I think it is because he is genuine in his pomposity for lack of a better term. He knows that guys knows who he is and simply thinks its funny. Should he act like he has no awareness of how well known he is? The proof is in the hug he gives Tsafack.

Agreed. From the owner's perspective, Goodell going front and center and his willingness to be the public asshole all of these owners are privately is his only job. Nothing else. He doesn't negotiate the TV contract. He is a mouthpiece.

I'd guess lots of testing, but that is just a wild ass guess. Likely lots more IndyCar testing than DP since aero is very tightly regulated by IMSA. It is regulated to the point where the cars are put in a NASCAR tunnel and their downforce and Cd numbers are set in stone.

No doubt. Jordan Taylor is certainly the best young driver and as good as Pruett now. But neither guy is as good as Dixon. Dixon isn't as well known outside of racing circles because he is relatively quiet and has had a fair amount of bad luck through the years. He is one of the few IndyCar guys who, if circumstances

The Corvette DPs were faster in cold conditions than the Fords.

It was unlikely they would have passed Dixon mainly because Dixon's car was better in the warmer conditions. Cars act significantly different when there is a 30deg F swing in temps. And yes, they were 2nd.

Caution or not, 1 unnecessary driver change late in the race was going to kill their chances and they screwed up royally. Of course, it wasn't highly likely they were going to win anyway, but they pissed away a legitimate chance at the end due to carelessness.

I'm pretty sure the common theme is that the women are also inexperienced in how to deal with these inherently awkward situations because they are all children!

I use Google Wallet on occasion and recently used it at Panera. I then went back to Panera a few days later expecting to use it again. It turns out this Panera only had one NFC terminal and two other registers without it. It wasn't a big deal but I thought it was pretty silly. If you are going to offer the ability to

I have to admire Jim Gray for his ability to have no talent combined with a long recorded history of his general shittiness yet still continue to find employment. He must be a great interview.

I'd bet there were a number of cars who had pulled off the road or slowed to a crawl well before this because of the low visibility.

Reminds me of some vintage Larry Nance slams...if you are old enough to remember him.

This is great. It reminds of when LeBron would pass at the end of the game to an open shooter who would have a better odds of making the shot yet hit takers would suggest that the star should be the hero.

The lesson is that old people, such as this bigoted gentleman, own businesses, sports teams and sit in positions of social and economic power. This isn't some senile old man wasting away harmlessly in a nursing home. This is a guy who hires people who hire other people. This is a guy who likely has significant

12.5 was the opening line. The kid (or his backers) could have had 12.5 and it later moved to 9.5.
