The hammer scene is still one of the most shocking things I’ve ever seen in a horror film. I love a good splatter flick, but one of my favorite things about TCM is how it feels horrifically violent while barely spilling a drop of blood. The sudden drop and violent convulsions in that scene are more effective than a

I don’t mind a good fadeout, but I do think I prefer a hard stop. Fade out on a chorus that I particularly like, and it just reinforces my bad habit of listening to songs over and over until I’m sick of them.

The Residents - Demons Dance Alone has been almost nonstop for me this week. I think it has replaced Bunny Boy as my favorite so far. It’s shockingly... normal?... by Residents standards. Like, you could play this in public and only get a few weird stares.

While we get fewer amazing quotes per episode, the relatively more grounded feel works at making these bizarre characters even funnier by

Definitely annoying, but I like the steps toward normalization of weed. It helps the cause more than it hurts, I think.

K Dot’s got Knards!

Please tell me that people’s names immediately go on a “to be viciously slapped” list after buying that.

I never trust release date announcements, they always get odelayed.

I just ran down to the jerk store to verify your claim, and sure enough, they’re rapidly running out of him.

Presumably, one can only drink this with a beer bong.
