Fuck em. Especially since they are largely responsible for shielding officers from accountability when they fuck up.

OMG, there’s trying to protect your members, then there’s this. The man put a chokehold that was against policy, on a detainee, leading to Gardner’s death, and they defend him this far? Any other union would stop by now.

Yup. Its almost as if they want to impress upon her their version of freedom while oppressing others. She had a point (about the flags on the backs of cars - it is disrespectful to do that, on top illegal), but because they have an all or nothing approach to patriotism, she gets piled on. 

Agreed. Some posted on twitter basically saying that if you love the damned flag so much, then maybe don’t put a full sized flag on the back of your vehicle to get destroyed. She got ratio’d to hell and back, and so many people were like GTFO if you don’t like it!

Someone on twitter said that they didn’t even think the KKK doesn’t exist anymore because they didn’t even meet a member. I pointed out earlier that KKK sites and people who were KKK members but still agree with their views endorse the president. They love it when he “both sides” an argument involving racist groups.

To be fair they aren’t enforcing any laws. Weapons possession and burglary aren’t violent crimes. Which is the policy that we are talking about, here. I already agreed that the man should have been in jail for the sheer number of times he was charged.

This is when the gun control actually starts happening. Also, yes law enforcement is supposed to be respected, but that respect is a goddamned two way street. Being a cop should come with higher standards, but so many are forgetting that, or don’t care. Treating people as people is a good way to start. 

Here’s the thing: some of the gun laws that have been proposed would have flagged him, and he wouldn’t have been able to legally by a gun. So, yes, he would have not been allowed a legal weapon to do this. He also should probably have been in jail, but you know what? We’re seeing people get ridiculously lenient…

Yup. I saw some of his stuff, and whoooboy he just says the dumbest stuff. Especially when it comes to validating his religious beliefs. Or masculinity. Like his whole take on why having a female Bond would not be good is so dumb. The only truthful thing he said was “now this is sexist, but...”

Yeah, I only use it if absolutely necessary when washing my hands. I was a server who had to stick her hands in industrial strength pre-wash solution from time to time. It was brutal on my hands.
