Bbecause someone doesnt agree with a way some people choose to live their lives it does make them a "phobe" of any kind. If I said I don't agree with people eating so much as to be obese does that make me an obesephobe? Heck I'm far and can agree that it's not a good thing, if I tell someone my opinion on it it doesnt

A great observation about Freddie’s station in life.  Yes, Ripley may be a fraud, but he doesn’t realize it puts himself in actual danger.

Tommy, how’s the peeping?

Yep. Freddie Miles sees right through Ripley from their first meeting...his fatal mistake is thinking Ripley is just another opportunistic hanger-on.

Movies should only be about nice people!

I do like that version, although Ripley-as-cowboy owes more to Wim Wenders’ idea of what Americans are like than to Highsmith’s text . Although she eventually came around on the movie after initially disliking it. I wonder what she would have thought about Damon’s Ripley?

The only one of these I’ve seen is “The American Friend.”  Dennis Hopper as Tom Ripley!

I wasn't aware that hating David Ayer was an unpopular opinion. Are you new here?

It’s not a remotely unpopular opinion, and you knew that when you wrote it, which you did to get plaudits for saying it. That’s an annoying contrivance, thanks.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion:

Comptroller 2:  CFO-No You Didn’t

“In Hollywood, you basically fail upwards” - Kevin Smith.

I’m looking forward to Accounts Payable.

How does David Ayer still get work?  I mean clearly more people need to see Bright(or at least watch up to the point where they have to turn it off because its terrible)

It’s part of the CCU (Collector Cinematic Universe), along with this, The Bone Collector and the original The Collector.

I haven’t seen it yet, but there is a Scott Adkins movie called The Debt Collector that looks very promising.

You liked The Accountant. You loved The Tax Collector. Coming next Summer: The Comptroller.

I almost spat out my cereal when the reviewer mentioned the ‘bloated running time’.  It’s an Apatow movie, mentioning the running time is redundant.  The dude should just name his next kid ‘Bloated Running Time Apatow’.  And then, of course, feature that kid in a completely unnecessary and self-indulgent cameo in his

Or Funny People, with its thrilling last act development of Adam Sandler not being moved to tears by actual home movie footage of Apatow's daughter
