Kotaku’s idea of “toxicity” can apply to anything as simple as “I don’t like this game”. That is, afterall, why they’re so gungho about removing the ability for consumers to voice their opinions. Sure, I’ve seen the “there are other places to voice your opinion”, but didn’t Kotaku heavily criticize CDPR for basically

Actually, those sizes are marketing terms.  I’d look it up, but everyone is actually pretty close in size atm.  TSMC 7nm is larger than it claims.

Origin and the like have no reason to exist until there complete game library is on those platforms.

This. I get the dev guys and the small start ups struggle with Steam but as a consumer. I log into steam look around, buy a game and play. I as an average gamer, as a full time parent, and with a full time job will not spend the time reading, fretting, and getting emotional about all this stuff. I don’t have the Time.

Counter Point: PC gaming is an ever growing and expanding thing. It has never been a better time to play PC games. It will always have the most options, genres and style of gameplay for every conceivable taste. Great games(imo) come out practically every week. They might not be the biggest games but there is always

I’m always fascinated by the discussions of Steam toxicity. For me, it’s a store and a launcher and that’s it. I may once in a while browse a game’s message board if I’m experiencing a bug, but that’s it.

That is a rather glaring omission, considering an infant storefront with six games on it got a paragraph.

You’d think in a list like this GOG would be there.

Should have gone with that favorite preposition of editors everywhere, “amid.”

They hit the game winner BECAUSE of the penalties, not in spite of them.

I’m not following. Dude is fired by the Browns, so he’s a “free agent.” (Free agent of suck, maybe, but still.) So Mayfield is butthurt because he went out and got another job? That’s an issue?

Honestly, you could remove “Professional football in” from the modified sentence and it’d still be true.

You can bake one cake but it does not make you a baker.

I think the proper ruling on the field would have been to award the Jets a touchback and call it even.

If you’re going to go for the balls, shouldn’t you at least use your feet to hurt them? What is this, hand nuts? No, this is footballs

That dude's nuts!

That’s a guy you cant trust in a pinch.

Creative and sad to read about. That is ever Eve article. I love the idea of Eve and reading about it way more than I ever enjoyed actually playing it.

I don’t even know if that slow-moving, target-seeking briefcase bit is a bug, but it is absolutely fantastic.
