This sounds great. I’m not spending my limited recreational time on it, but I’m glad Sebastian Stan is rocketing up the actor charts.

Not sure if I can stomach watching a movie about Trump while I’m bombarded daily with his hideous face, voice and thoughts. Still appreciate that it exists and will maybe give it a shot once the guy is finally dead. Which might take another 20 years since evil bastards always seem to be immortal.

He’s already such a mythologized figure. There’s value in portrayals that he can’t influence.

As much as I like Seb Stan it’s so questionable to cast an actor that hot as Trump. Kinda reminds me of Evan Peter’s playing Hot Dahmer.

I kinda feel like we shouldn’t humanize history’s monsters until they’re dead and buried.

Truly a golden age of the “eclectic mix tape” soundtrack. Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction, Romeo & Juliet just to name a few more.

I have seen few movies that improved as much as this just by watching it in a proper aspect ratio instead of VHS pan-n-scan. This and Lifeforce. (and probably Lawrence Of Arabia, if I ever get around to it.)

Sebastian Stan is highly underrated. Been rooting for him since MCU. He won the gender neutral Best Performer award for this movie at this year’s Berlinale. Hope this generates good buzz for him.
