See, I know you’re a person of quality. ‘Skip & go naked’ was always the go to back in the day. 

I think The Meg deserves a mention. It’s cheesy as hell, but in a ‘I need a snack, a beverage, and to relax for the evening’ kind of way. The jump scares are well done, and the little girl in the movie is precious. 

I’m mad at this pun, but at the same time, I respect it.

These same dudes get hyped about woman talking about her assault: “You should have picked a better guy.” “You should have known better.” blah blah blah. They, apparently, are the better guy, and thus being labeled creepy relegates them to the assholes they don’t think themselves to be.

You’re not wrong. ‘Why Can’t I Fall in Love’ is frickin iconic, and I have it on many a writing playlist. 

I love Pump Up the Volume. The soundtrack introduced a young me to Concrete Blonde and my life hasn’t been the same. 

That one terrified the hell outta me. Sincerely, I still think about it to this day when I’m in a hospital hallway. It made quite the impression (read: scar).

I appreciate that, I do. I’m just so very used to this state vying for the title of ‘Mississippi of the North’. We haven’t even had Sunday liquor sales for five whole years yet. We are quantum locked into place and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. 

I would love, just for one day, to read about something good and benefitting the nation coming out of this hellhole. My gods, these folks are we absolutely none of us can have nice things.

I think ‘Grosse Pointe Blank’ and ‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ are two glaring omissions from this list, and I will be taking no questions at this time.
