I dont think it is about doing a half assed job. It is more about accurate reporting.

The 85 people dont equal half. First of all it was a one year time period and second it is reflective of only the people she was scheduled to meet, who were in her calendar. It is also important to note they were people who normally would have access to her. Aids organizations, Nobel Peace Prize winners, etc.

It was maybe half the people she met in less than a year that they can confirm through her calendar. So it is not exactly the most accurate of measurements. I think the fact that so many people requested time with her and her staff blew them off shows more than the 85 meetings.
