See Trump, Donald...

You may not have league pass and be watching the Celtics home broadcasts with Scal (he’s doing most of the color commentary now that Tommy Heinsohn is old and ill and missing most games). But Scal may be the biggest advocate of “time lord” — he’s been going a little nuts with it the last few games. Saying it every

racist much?

Or maybe he didn’t forget, but he’s justdoing his job and trying to amp up the on air product so people watch the drama and NBC gets more ad revenue?

I know right, its amazing? He worked as a bureaucrat in a low profile city agency for two years and served on some advisory boards that hold a few meetings per year. That just gives him such amazing insight into how the state government works!

I agree Clinton fucked up real bad. I’m very angry about it still. But Whitmer isn’t Clinton and El-Sayed isn’t Bernie Sanders. And 2016 isn’t 2018, with Democrats motivated and mobilized to an extent they weren’t in 2016. So I’m not really sure that there’s anything to be gained from re-litigating the 2016 primary to

Obviously, I know he has concrete policy proposals. But of course so does Gretchen Whitmer. Both of their policies sound great, actually, and are largely indistinguishable from each other, with the exception of a few areas where the differences are moot points because they would never pass a Michigan legislature

Michigan voter here. I’m very very lefty. But the problem with his candidacy is that he’s not really running on anything other than “I’m super progressive and Bernie likes me. Therefore, you are obligated to vote for me and aren’t a true progressive if you don’t.

Also, if he was actually worried that the guy would retaliate against him, why did he call the cops? It doesn’t really make any sense. I think we’re missing part of the story here. My sense from the footage is that the front desk clerk called the cops to try to defuse a fight. When she did it, they chilled, realizing

Isn’t this potentially a crime for straw donations?

Indeed. In the US, the man would have been shot to death about 30 seconds into the clip when he tries to wrestle the cop.

I know people are deeply upset about what Signal writes. But I would point out that as an ally who is not fully up-to-date on all of the debates around trans issues, Signal comes off as quite reasonable in almost all of the screen-quoted conversations. To be clear, I’m not saying he is being reasonable. I don’t know

you mean starting a new successful business and re-hiring many of his recently laid off former employees? no it doesn’t sound like that. simmons behaved very professionally here. this shouldn’t be in the press. the guy is sick and he’s not a public figure.

Yes. Publishing this is disgusting. He is not a public figure. He’s clearly ill. Publishing this could push him into even more dangerous behavior. Deadspin is showing some Gawker ethics (non-ethics) here and its gross.

People out there in the world bet on different aspects of games than just the official Vegas lines you know.

Oh come on. NFL refereeing is at least as bad, especially because its SOOOOOO arbitrary. Almost every single running play in the NFL, the refs could call holding if they want to. But they swallow their whistle 90% of the time. Almost every single pass play in the NFL, the refs could call pass interference. But they
