It's beautiful, in its way, but it's like a Faberge egg music box. I wouldn't want to handle it for fear of damaging something. And I can buy a used GT-R for that kind of money and actually do some driving.

That is easily the nicest photo of a MkII I've ever seen. I owned one for a while but the rear quarter was rotten through. Finally sold it for parts for way less than it was worth; those W58 five-speeds can get an even $1000 some days.
