Had one, bought it for $900 with 240k miles on it. My friend and I used to frequent this junkyard. When we saw a newly junked 240, we went to pick out the usual useful parts, like relays and shit like that. To our surprise, it was decked out with full IPD suspension, bushings, sway bars, adjustable cam gear, and

NP for a neat hobby car. Are you going to take the family on cross country road trips with it? No. But are you going to enjoy the occasional Saturday morning in the garage doing some relatively simple -- and satisfying wrenching? Sure. And you’re going to meet some down to earth people when out and about, too. This

This one is a little more technical, but a lot of people misspell and mispronounce “giubo,” which for cars is the term for the flexible disc between the transmission flange and the driveshaft. The name is a portmanteau of the Italian words “giunto” (joint) and “Boschi” (the surname of the Italian who invented it), As

The Dodge Charger - BRING BACK THE MAGNUM, you cowards.

Designer using a mouse constantly, I switched to the MX vertical a few years ago and won’t ever go back. Far less strain on the wrist. This sort of thing is great to try to get your employer to pay for as well.

As a little bit of a dev and a little bit of a gamer, there are two devices that saved my hands. The Ergodox keyboard helps, but the thing that keeps me from walking away from my computer in tears is my Anker vertical mouse. They’re about $25, last 1-2 years, and have an 18 month warranty, so half the time I replace

Steve-O has been a random inspiration for me to keep maintaining my drug recovery (albeit a few relapses). I figured if that guy can do it so can I.

Can we talk about how Steve-O is 47 years old and looks amazing considering everything he’s been through?

Ditto various gauges in various Volvos over the years. They all had the tach wire, and in the 740s you could swap out blanks in the cluster for the volt and boost gauges that the turbos got on non-turbos and they would just work. Boost would only show vacuum, of course.

Bonus: double the fuel...FOR FREE!

I think that you’re looking at this wrong. This means that you can also replace an Escape instrument panel with a Maverick one.

Nope.

I’m a gun owner, and I use it for target shooting and I sometimes take it into the mountains for large animal protection if I’m alone (I also carry bear spray as a first line of defense). I’m also a very even keeled person, not prone to emotional outbursts. But even I know that carrying a weapon daily only makes this

One of the major stumbling blocks on these smart guns has been a law in New Jersey requiring all handguns have these features if even one made it to market and ended up approved for sale in the state. Regardless of whether it was even for sale in the state.

Why don’t y’all just do a feature called “Ask a Trucker”? I’m sure I’m not the only one on here who drives commercial truck for a living; I’m also a driver trainer.

... and this is why the “tough on crime” mandatory minimum sentences (which always seem to end up equalling “life in prison”, somehow) are simply bad public policy.

Mandatory minimum laws are obscene in all instances.
