I briefly owned a 2JZ-GTE Aristo and absolutely loved it; unfortunately a combination of summer tires and a fierce April snowstorm put it in the ditch and insurance refused to cover repairs because it was RHD. I had no idea they made a 1UZ version.

RRC is excellent and is also currently restoring a CR-X with the same fanatical attention to detail.
perfect spec, great condition, worth the asking.
came here to mention the guibo, I was delighted to learn the correct pronunciation back in the day
a friend has a Ridgeline and I think it’s aesthetically inoffensive and a perfect paragon of truck design otherwise; it’s absolutely as much truck as 95% of people need.
I was wondering if the Holden got a wagon version. I’m in Canada so I’m doubly cut off from the SS and its cousins.
Dodge Journeys. Garbage car that you buy when your A1 asks are room for the kids and a rock-bottom price--which are both totally valid criteria. Unfortunately neither of them are “driving”, “being a good driver”, or “driving safely”. The number of dipshit maneuvers I see from Journeys on the daily...I actively avoid…
there’s a list of small quality-of-life fixes on the Volvo 240 but the main issue is the new holes I introduced to the exhaust trying to fix the hole that appeared when the midpipe separated from the front muffler
I named my cantankerous Volvo 240 wagon Svenskefaen, which is Norwegian for “bastard Swede”
do y’all get the Micra down there? we have them in Canada and they’re smaller and cheaper in every direction than the Versa, but for some reason the Micra’s cheap comes across as cheerful where the Versa just feels kind of sad. I can’t justify that feeling, it’s pure vibes.

My parents were out of the country on holiday. About five…
this was one of the first films I downloaded *cough* and it was, unbeknownst to me, a theatre cam. As a result, every time there was a funny line or unexpected action, it was accompanied by a quiet wave of laughter. I only realized after I finished it that it wasn’t a deliberate part of the soundtrack.
when your frame of reference is the Daytona literally anything can qualify as “ugly”
to say nothing of the fact that this format is completely opaque to screen-readers for visually-impaired people
the part of me that says “this is cool” is really fighting the part of me that wants a period-correct aftermarket head unit in my 89 Bronco
My Volvo 240 wagon had an indicated 380000 kilometers when I ran out of places to park it and sold it on to a kid and his dad as a father-son project. I hope it’s still going.
Driving through the Alberta Rockies on a camping trip years ago, I caught a flash of mustard and chrome that rapidly resolved itself into a Citroen SM and just as rapidly disappeared in the other direction. Haven’t seen another in the metal since.
