If white people really could control themselves we wouldn’t be looking at an international clusterfuck six days into 2020
Oh my gawd Becky. Now we can’t even mock Jamaicans. What will we do on vacation?
Tom Hanks wanting to be come the best man he could; placed all his worst qualities into Chet via an amalgamation of science and supernatural ritual. Chet is now the harbinger of Hank; a malign spiritual energy hellbent on escaping its flesh prison and dominating the world.
White people, it has been 2020 for 6 days! 6!!! Control yourselves!
I liked two things about it. First, there’s a bit of background on how Scrooge became “Scrooge”. Shy, introverted, ignored by his family....he did not make friends easily, if at all. And secondly, Scott plays the “reformed” Scrooge with a touch of restraint. At times, he seems almost ashamed of himself and his former…
Would like to give you a star for the title of this review. I’m extremely loyal to the George C. Scott version so will not be watching this one.
His father kept him away at school, including during holidays like Christmas, for some reason, but eventually relented. His sister, Fred’s mother, was Scrooge’s only close family member, and yes she eventually died. Fred tries to keep in touch with Scrooge as his only remaining family member, but Scrooge couldn’t be…
And this is weird because didn’t Scrooge already have a tragic background? Didn’t his sister die and his father sent him away or something? What was this supposed to accomplish that that didn’t?
I like seeing love for the George C. Scott version. Overall it was pretty standard fare but Scott was put on this earth to play a crotchety, cantankerous old man and that makes it that much better. (Contrast this with the Patrick Stewart version. I love Patrick Stewart something fierce, but it’s just hard to buy…
We’ve had sexy Sherlock, we’ll have sexy Dracula, so now SCREWGE
I was going to watch this but missed the start time. After reading this review, glad I didn’t. Doesn’t making Scrooge a victim of this much trauma rob the story of its critique of capitalism? Plenty of real life business leaders doing bad things to our world who grew up normal and well adjusted. Some people can just…
Finally, stockpile and headhunter live again!
There’s bloom in Reach. In fact it was controversial for the bloom. Every time you fire the assault rifle, DMR, or magnum, bloom increases.
Yeah, that’s all still in there under the Social Multiplayer menu.
Booting up multiplayer last night with a Halo newbie, they immediately noticed “We just start with everything?” Man, I missed the old school simplicity and combat flow of Halo.
lack of ironsights is my favorite thing about older FPS games like Halo and CS. can’t wait to get back into it.
It depended on the mode, but yeah, there was definitely a mode where you would choose between different “classes” for lack of a better term, in which you had a different starting weapon and a different Spartan ability.
Cool, I can live my friends’ constant betrayal over again.
