It’s going to be a V8 with an auto, and the real kicker: it’s a cross-over now!

Hands?

Those countries have largely unionized workforces, who negotiate pay by industry/sector. So while there is no *national* minimum wage, nearly all of the jobs do have a minimum wage that’s in the union contract.
Nice way to try to mislead.

It’s not due to mixing up hands, it’s because airbags were invented. Having your hand in front of the wheel would be bad in the event the airbag is deployed.

Full disclosure - this is not something anyone ever told me.

Sorry, but the issue is yours, not hers. There is nothing wrong with using the parking brake even if it’s not particularly necessary. The only problem is that it bugs you. Don’t let it bug you, and it’s not a problem.

“_______ is an affordable motor sport.”

Lots of gems from my driving instructor.

“All the electronic nannies are just for people who can’t drive. So first thing to do when getting in a car is turn them all off.”

“My friend’s uncle’s second cousin’s neighbor’s friend lived because he was thrown out of the car into the bushes during an accident. That’s why Seat belts are not always safe”

That BMW’S have turn signals.

“Never use your cruise control around a bend in the highway. It can cause you to spin out”

This makes Reverse especially ironic:

The cynical part of me suspects that the auto manufacturers would like for US auto workers to make the same as the Mexican auto workers currently make, instead of the other way around.

Will gas prices go up? Probably. But that is in something I call the “post Sergio” era of FCA. Do I care about post Sergio FCA? Nope.

#1. We need to up gas taxes. Buck a fucking gallon or some truly painful amount. We haven’t learned a goddamn thing.

So that’s it, huh? Ford is just going to cede the entire small and mid-size car market to the Japanese and Koreans? Is that Hackett’s brilliant new plan - give up? SMH.

Are you sure you aren’t thinking of the Taurus? I never got the impression that the interior was too small for its exterior on the Fusion.
