Running straight through chicanes is a tradition in Nascar. My favorite races of all time were at Riverside back in the 80s. There were 3 drivers that knew what they were doing on road course (Richmond and Gant and some unknown instructor drafted into the series) and 40 that didn’t have a clue. Highlights were:

Unless that Suburban has more people in it.  It was more efficient for us to drive 1,000 miles in 1 Suburban with 6 people in it than it would have been to drive with 4 people in one car and 2 in another car.
