Do you and your Brother speak German? He did say “rechts” once in the video.

My most favorite part is this:

This racing series has nothing to do with Tesla, than that they use their vehicles. So if this flops, you can’t blame Tesla.

The races are only 60km and they got the big 100kWh battery, they probably don’t have to worry too much about energy conservation.

Its even a lot easier to modify an electric vehicle, just increase current by enhanced cooling. I bet they just installed a more powerful cooling and that probably all it takes. You could of course reprogram the power electronics, or even switch them out, but they only got 10% more power out of it, so its probably

Usually there are two different types, AC chargers, which utilize the cars own internal battery charger, they are basically nothing more than regular outlets with a plug. Those will charge your car in several hours. And there are DC fast chargers, which currently have 50kW of power and charge a Leaf to 80% in about 20

What are you concerned of? That the superchargers might be blocked? Thats why they have introduced that idle fee. I suppose, if you don’t have access to your own charging station, owning an EV today would be kind of impractical. But Musk has hinted at much faster chargers in the close future. And their CTO has been

Shut up! Donald knows how capitalism works. He enjoys trickle down economics, especially in russian hotel rooms. And if we just let him rule, the American citizens will soon get their golden shower.

I think public perception is actually the biggest factor of them all. I can’t blame most people about not being too informed about EVs, or rumors that you’d have to replace the battery every 2 years.

That is actually not true at all.

Wow, Teslas hold up their value pretty well! If you keep in mind that a new one is $60,500 after tax incentives, the cheapest CPO I could find was 44k and that one was more than 3 years old and very basic, maybe even worse equipped than a standard new one.

The M5 still looks better, but I get where you are going, point taken.

I suggest a BMW 3 series, it is a BMW and everyone drives one, but once you ignore everything she said, its a really nice vehicle for her...

It sure looks stylish and the interior just screams luxury, doesn’t it?

I gave you a star, but reliability and a usable backseat were demanded by her, so while I like your choice, she probably wouldn’t.

“It is total hogwash”, “Never did that!”, “We? No!”, “We will work together with the EPA, to clear up the mistake”, “only some employees...”, “FCA is very sorry... the management never knew”, “Headline: Marchionne hiding from US prosecution, in Sicily”

I don’t think the engine will change much, or even at all, I suppose they go for some kind of wide-body, low(er) weight, super sticky tires setup.

In my opinion the price is totally irrelevant in this case, why would someone ever buy another persons project car?

The real question is, if all those barriers she could not break, eventually broke her and made her the monster she was.

Of course I wouldn’t! Why do you think those vehicles cost so much, because everyone put them on the track, now there are only a few good left. I’d rather have the few remaining ones bought by people that care for those vehicles and have newer ones raced.
