Alexa Chung.
4000 years of choice! This is the best thing I'll read all week, maybe all MONTH! No joke, no exaggeration, this is fucking awesome.
Where's that info?
Serves me right for commenting on something relating to them, because of course I would read a response. Fake wedding? No, didn't know. Is that the Kanye one or the previous one that the guy sued and lost? The Ray Jay video - yeah, I knew there was one, but I think I keep blocking out the name of the guy because it…
Eh, unfortunately after reading your post, I know more than I did before. Serves me right.
You know a lot about them.
Nice word use. I responded to the content in a different post.
I think somewhere up there I asked if he was still on the show. I don't really keep up with reality tv because it's just not my thing. I say if he's not on the show, leave him the hell alone on all fronts. So, no, that is not my argument.
Maybe at that point he can show other men that issues that affect women are human issues and not a sub-class of human issues called women's issues.
I'm not saying he should be excluded, but I am noting that he's making it about him while highlighting the issues of women. I'm reluctant to say he's highlighting the feminist movement, since he didn't actually say that (unless I missed something). I'm not even sure he's advocating equality. His focus seems to be on…
I like to take things issue by issue. Sometimes what he does is good in my view, sometimes not. On this issue, I'm admittedly scared he's going to fuck things up.
I don't think women's rights aka human rights are going to be helped by an old white man with privilege. I would rather see him aligning himself with groups already doing this work, instead of writing this book for profit and increasing his personal profile and bank account.
If he's successful, what does that say…
Which part isn't clear? I don't think him speaking and writing is going to be helpful. I actually think it will make things worse. I would love to be wrong.
I don't think attaching his name to the cause is going to help the cause.
I don't think genocide is funny. You'll have to allow for a difference of opinion.
Wow, thank you for bringing that to my attention. If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to see a few links to see for myself how that looks and who is doing it.
Watched it. The cat seemed totally fine, very relaxed. If I heard correctly, the cat is a rescue who had previously been attacking Joe (I would too if I were a cat, because ew). The cat's name isn't just Colonel, it's The Colonel.
He does it knowingly. He's not just going about his day and having his image caught by cameras as he goes about his business. There are contracts and insurance and lots of people coordinating things to record that family. You don't think that makes a difference?
