What I do and what a reality tv personality does are completely different. I think it's ludicrous to argue otherwise.

You understand me so well.
I understand what the rules are, even though I vehemently disagree with them. Even still, I'm not sure how you go from plastic surgery of a public person to the color of my underwear.
Good for her. I want to say she's a badass but it shouldn't be badass to stand up for yourself when you're groped.
Because there are still enough people who find THE WHOLE THING to be acceptable.
I disagree with you on the first premise. Being out in public obviously doesn't give others the right to know certain things about you, or the right to be inquisitive about them, because generally people don't have the ability to just stay inside all their lives, even if they wanted to. I think this is hyperbolic…
Back up. The post is about Anne Frank, who was definitely Jewish and was killed for being Jewish and not white (not for being homosexual, a gypsy, handicapped, or a freemason - yes, all groups who were also targeted). I have no idea about Zimmerman, other than that it's just as easily a name of German origin.
Erm, Jews were not considered white. The Holocaust was an attempted genocide, it didn't matter if you were practicing, it didn't matter if it was your father who was Jewish (which by Jewish law means you are not Jewish).
This is not okay.
I get it.
How do you make the case for a public person's privacy without appealing to their humanity? And he's a VERY public person. I agree with you, I do, but mainly because I don't like being an asshole. I understand the other side of it - pursuing private info because he's a public person - even if I really disagree.
Responded to KC, don't want to repeat myself here. I agree with you, bump watch is stupid, unfair, and opens her up to the expectations and pressures from others, as though being an actress didn't already have enough of that.
I'm with you on that. I feel that people/media are trying to shame him into being different than he is. Funny that everything he's doing (surgery, maintenance) could also be read as a fear of aging, which we know has recently come up in the tech industry for men: http://valleywag.gawker.com/ageism-turned-…. Somehow…
Not asking you to speak for everyone; just asking what you think. Right now, I'm here: If transitioning isn't some kind of horrible secret to be revealed, as you wrote, if he were transitioning it could be news because he is still a public person who has made a career of making his personal life available. Thoughts?
No, but I think he's fair game to be discussed. How that is done is on whoever is doing it, and she's pretty much an asshole.
Without going so far as defending her right to be an asshole, Jenner is a willing participant on a reality television show. I first saw him that one time I watched I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Has he taken a break from being on reality tv? If not...it's not like he has to work to support himself, does he?
I…
hey, the 90s are back! nice to see ya :P - seriously, love the name
How much rat could a rat trap kill if that rat trap could kill rats.
Happy to hear they are suing. As they should.
Big mistake. Big. Huge. And so is the damn song that plays in the background of the scene.
