Yeah, I don't think I've ever posted a comment that generated such a discussion. There are a lot of us out there!

Oh my goodness, that is what's truly horrifying. I'm so sorry you had to go through that- I can't even imagine having that happen twice.
Thankfully, my husband doesn't really want kids to begin with (at least not for a while), so I don't need to worry about that. If we ever decide to have children, it will be adoption all the way.
Is anyone else horrifically scared of pregnancy and childbirth? I read about all the things that happen to your body before, during, and after, and it's one of the significant reasons that have determined why I don't want kids.
It literally brings me to tears to think of these huge, intelligent animals being trapped in small tanks and forced to perform on demand. Animals do not exist for our amusement!
Not quite as catchy or substantial as "I am a birdcage without any bird, a collar looking for a dog, a kiss without lips, a prayer lacking any knees". My vote? D-.
I read about a year ago that the two children of one of the top Nazi officials (I forget which one) both had themselves sterilized so that his genes wouldn't be passed on. I can't begin to imagine how sorrowful their lives have been.
Unfortunately, I basically just do not tan. I burn, then peel, then burn some more. On any day when I'm going to be outside for extended hours, I actually take an umbrella with me- sunscreen isn't even enough then :(
I feel so sorry for the children of notorious criminals. It must be so difficult to get through life with what must seem like a glow-in-the-dark label stapled to your forehead. I went to school with a family whose father, when the kids ranged from 10-18, killed his wife (their mother) and tried to frame it as a car…
Of course, it couldn't be that women are just more honest about their feelings.
I think if I tried, I'd just look like a mental patient instead of a convict.
Yeah, guess I shouldn't complain about anything related to a card that grants me free health care any time :)
I can at least pull my hair back into a ponytail, but how are people dealing with sweaty skin right after they wake up? I'm trying to put moisturizer and sun block on every day first thing, but when my face is already beading up within seconds of washing and drying it, I don't think it's staying on. I can wear a hat…
"Viewings of "World War Z" and "The Lone Ranger.""
A lot of that has to do with the fact that a size 14 then was much smaller than a size 14 today. Her weight did fluctuate, but she was never a 2013 size 14.

I hate the new 'no smiling' rules for official IDs (at least in Canada). I've never had so many mugshot-like pictures taken as I have in the last year, when I had to have my DL, health card, and passport all replaced. The pictures on the site mentioned here make the people look so life-like and full of character!
I don't have much body hair, thankfully. I shave my lower legs and armpits once a week, and that's about it. My eyebrows don't need it, my upper legs are fine, my arms and everywhere else are practically hairless. I got my legs waxed once, but I've got sensitive skin and it reacted HORRIBLY to it (on my honeymoon…
Every year that goes by brings more songs by artists I've never heard of. I'm an old.
