I know she opened them because for professional emails, I use a tracking service, which shows how often they were opened; the service showed that Duca viewed every email multiple times from her iPhone, her Gmail account, and another mail client.

What movie had that quoted repeatedly?  I know I just saw it, but now I can’t remember and it’s driving me crazy.

Couldn’t anyone with legitimate access to the scrips just take screenshots or pictures of them? This sounds as secure as Snapchat.

In one of the Little House books (Farmer Boy, I think) the characters keep ice frozen through the summer by layering blocks of it between straw. These researchers need to read more.

You almost perfectly described a Canadian sitcom called Corner Gas, about a tiny community in the middle of the Saskatchewan prairies.

That’s honestly why it wouldn’t work for my marriage too.

A (married) friend of mine recently accepted a job in a town a couple hours away. She will be living there M-F in a rented room while her husband stays here in their house, and coming home on weekends. When I found out, it threw me. I know it can be done, and I hope it works out for them, but it seems so hard on a

Mr L and I had been ‘living in sin’ for a couple years, and we knew going into that phase that it was serious. Gradually, we just started making decisions about a future together. Once we bought the house together, it was basically settled. The closest thing I got to a proposal was once, a few months into making

I have a phone interview on Wednesday for a position that at least on the surface seems perfect for me! It’s the one that I posted about a few weeks ago where I was agonizing about if I should go to the office in person to let them know that I was going to be unavailable for a couple weeks while on vacation since

I hope there are at least a dozen accident-free trips aside from those! Also, three days of driving with a broken leg makes me cringe at the thought.

I think that too often “Mental Illness” is used as the same sort of answer as ‘demons’ or ‘the gods’ in the past. It’s just an easy scapegoat that means there is nothing anyone can do, change, or blame. The obvious difference is that there is something that can be done for mental illness, and that is research it,

My husband is the sweetest. We always alternate how we spend our vacation days each year, which means on my yearly pick we travel, and on his we stay home. He’d always rather stay put. However, he has already started saying things like “we can save up enough to come back next year” since he sees how disappointed I
