We are just new at this “civilization” stuff. We haven’t figured out how to educate children to the point where they can get a job or to care for the elderly yet. It all depends on your parents being wealthy enough to have a good start.
It always seems like I’m paying that much in hotel tax when I go to California. Oh yeah, and the extra rental car tax they add on near airports.

The weird thing about Costco is that they change prices on stuff all the time without calling it a sale - and move things around. So you have to go through the entire liquor section every time you are there to find the bargains. Not that this is a bad thing...
