Did he need a real-time kernel for that or can you just take your chances on responsiveness?

A good QA person would have caught that. It’s what they do.
You should be able to use the plex server with DLNA/upnp enabled and play content over the network from Kodi on any other device. Or use smb file sharing to access the content directly. (At least on your own local network).
Plex seems to ask for money every time I try it on a new device. So far I haven’t seen much point in paying it when Kodi works so well for free. However, you should have mentioned that Kodi works great with any DLNA/upnp server (including the plex server if you enable DLNA) for your local content - or it works pretty…
Kodi isn’t in the IOS app store because they would have to licence the AC3(Dolby) and DTS codecs which they can’t since they are free. VLC even omits them in the IOS build. But, there is a way to side-load Kodi on an ipad/iphone without jailbreaking using xcode7. See the forums.
Why don’t they just let Disney design the boarding method. They are good at it.
Well, they tried traing the 4 people in Syria that claimed to be pro-US already and that hasn’t helped... And what do they expect to happen when the country is ever allowed to vote for what they want? There doesn’t seem to be any faction that would be good to be in control from a US perspective.
But Republicans like Saudi’s. Now what?
So carbon dioxide is bad, but getting rid of it is, umm, also bad? Isn’t limestone where it all went last time around?
So, all of your family and the people you do know are near enough to meet frequently? Or are you not interested in them either? Group emails sort-of worked, but facebook is better at pictures and letting each person’s circle of friends and significant others overlap a bit.
I wish they would make the start menu something you could run all the time in a window when in desktop mode. I mean, what’s the point of having live tiles if you can’t have them showing and live all the time?
I don’t think they’ll cancel when a card is paid up - they just keep raising your credit limit hoping you’ll eventually charge more than you can pay.
Yes, you can share in icloud but at some point you have to pay for the space. And you have to sort out what you want to share. I want my wife to be able to pick out photos herself instead of me finding them and sharing them first.
Sounds like a win over Apple - I think your icloud photo and icloud email logins are always the same on any device.
Until now we had been syncing everything to iphoto on the shared imac (the hard way with cables). Iphoto could sort-of deal with being accessed by 2 accounts if they were both admins and you ‘fix permissions’ when switching. The replacement Apple photos app doesn’t like that. And I uploaded them all to my google photo…
Can you log google photos and gmail into different accounts on ios? Having my wife an myself logged into the same google photo account is the only way I could come up to give us both access to family pictures - even when they are hosted on the _same_ imac. The only Apple concept for families seems to be icloud sharing…
But Google Photos will also organize your trips into events, make animations from similar quick shots, and panaromas from photos that fit together. And make them searchable by location, faces, etc. That’s worth a lot. If they think they could sell anything I’ve shot, good for them.
Haven’t tried contacts because I prefer gmail’s web interface to desktop applications anyway, but google calendar works fine to sync across mac/windows/android/iphone. In fact, my wife and I have separate but shared google calendars and all of the above platforms pick them up and show them overlaid.
I don’t mind cleaning if I can see the difference before/after. But my eyes aren’t all that great and my wife seems to think it needs it way before I do. And I can do my own laundry, but I never buy anything that isn’t wash and wear, where my wife’s clothes are all stuf that should barely be touched by water and would…
I first met my wife’s father on halloween wearing a borrowed clown suit and wig. Worked for me - and I won the best costume prize at the party later.
