From what I saw in a youtuber’s review of the Lagonda, the car was simply packed with these oddball (and usually bad) engineering choices and solutions. It’s like someone who hadn’t ever built a car before had been tasked to make one, and were guessing half-blindly at what was needed and where to put them...
