I was gonna say, in my experience with Mercedes drivers, I can totally see one not noticing a tree in the road.

Oh, you wanted them to SURVIVE the trip?? Is the PR department busy?

It’s not just Jalopnik. It’s a decent sized story, especially given Toyota’s response to the outrage over it. I’ll guarantee you if any of these politicians supported bringing back Jim Crow laws, they wouldn’t donate to them.

What do those members of Congress provide to Toyota that it’s worth them dealing with this PR headache? As you point out, they're slinging money all over the place, so what exactly do they stand to lose by saying a politician who doesn't support democracy in America isn't getting cash?

“Hi, we’re calling about your expired submarine bilge pump. Do you have a moment?” is a scam call I’d take.

I worked at a Toyota dealership that had a cleaning method with used cars they either bought at auction or took in as trade & planned on reselling them. I was in HS at the time & didn't care enough to pay attention or ask questions about the process, but I can't imagine they were the only business dealing in cars that

A Nissan Versa is a golf cart with doors.

Ah, yes, Torch should stop ragging on Tesla but Tesla stans are good to encourage reckless behavior which could quite easily result in the death of the driver or others. Plenty of level headed Tesla owners share the problems they’ve had with AP being anything but perfectly safe, so who should we believe?

Legal & civil are two different things. If his parents are financially enabling his dangerous behaviors, they could find themselves looking for a lawyer.

I remember that story. As someone who works retail, seeing he was denied a refund was like reading a heartwarming Christmas story.

Road trip? He was just making sure he had enough fuel to get home from running errands.

Depending on the severity of the injury, death or debt, pick one.

Based on that pic, I'm gonna assume he answered the door with a shotgun.

UPS drivers are also union & can get away with shenanigans like that. Amazon drivers don't get away with shit.

As a retailer that was stuck with a mountain of store brand toilet paper I wouldn’t normally sell, that panic was a godsend.
