When I worked as a lot boy over 20 years ago at a Toyota dealership, the salesmen knew when cars that were already spoken for were coming & would be out on the lot to take the car the moment it came off the carrier (or if it was hot out would have me take it directly to the detailer to start the process). This whole

It’s incompetence, not an unacceptable mistake. Either both dealerships are run by people who shouldn’t be running dealerships or they knowingly sold trucks that were special ordered for other customers.

So he shares no responsibility in any of this, including driving his brand new vehicle in an unsafe manner that resulted in the vehicle getting stuck?

Because all the people who don't pay to use Twitter mock the crap out of the people who do. (Though it's usually reserved for people who are acting like Elon simps or just being clowns)

There’s a not so fine line between almost praising how poorly corporations treat every employee no matter how dedicated there are & nuking bridges from orbit.

They’re prob leasing or buying used. If you have decent credit, it’s not hard to get a dealership to help you ruin your monthly finances.

Apparently some EU regulatory agency is looking into his banning of these journalists. Probably gonna result in fines he won't be able to pay because Twitter is broke.

Oh yeah, I lived in Ventura County in Cali & I agree with you on the general type of buyers Tesla attracted. Even here in Raleigh, there’s a certain demographic I see driving Teslas (I live not far from one of their dealerships & I see a lot of test drives). Of all the rightwingers I knew in Cali & interact with here,

If anyone reads these headlines & assumed Bezos was “intimately” involved in the building of a $500m yacht, they’re an idiot.

Seeing as you haven't actually watched the episodes, what have you been told?

A plane being backed into a plane isn’t a collision?

While giggling like a god damned idiot.

Of course there’s no freedom of consequences, but you’re taking the mocking of Musk’s “much freedoms” shtick too literally. I doubt anyone is shocked people were fired, but it’s rich that the guy who runs his mouth 24/7 & whines about censorship fires people who point out he’s doing the company a disservice by acting

That might’ve been the worst example of corporate doublespeak I’ve ever seen.

I don’t think we’ll ever see the kind of self-driving where the car is making decisions all on its own. I’m sure we will see a system where all the cars are interconnected & talking with each other while being controlled by some off-site AI.

Honest question: why do you people keep parroting the Keystone talking point if you’re not going to bother doing 3 minutes of Googling?

Did he say he hasn't?

Same in my 2016 3. Except for scooting my ass forward, but I do have to lean pretty far forward. I much prefer the dial to using touchscreens while driving even if I didn't have to lean forward.

When demand inevitably drops below what the oil industry expects every time prices become ridiculously high, I wonder if oil execs immediately understand cause & effect or if they’re actually asking what’s going on.

I feel so bad for that kid. We all know what it’s like feeling embarrassed by our parents, but that had to be mortifying.
