This is a CVT transmission issue. I do the same drive in my automatic Mazda 3, it automatically downshifts 2 gears and I’m off to the races.

That was literally my experience. I let a friend drive it because he thought I was exaggerating. His reaction was “holy shit, this car sucks!”

I agree. But is this blowing up on social media worth denying such a young kid who’s innocent in all this? This should’ve been something where they let the kid on, but made sure the employee was talked to. 

I’m arguing on Twitter with people about this. In LeVar Burton’s Tweet of all places. I do sympathize with the child, they wouldn’t know better. And trust me, a dress code is no price to pay for free plane tix.
