If I remember correctly, there are/were states in the north east that outlawed those kinds of handles. I think Mass had that when I was growing up, so people are probably use to years and years of having to hold them down.

I work for a large corporation that pulls in hundreds of billions a year. Getting 10 year old cameras replaced is worse than pulling teeth and the only reason I got my DVR replaced (it was as old as my cameras) because it stopped working.
