If that’s a big saucepan, I might grab it, because I have been known to fry things in a saucepan specifically to avoid spattering fat. That’s such a miserable-looking knife, but I guess it could be sharpened into something useful.

In line with this, tonight I’m dining royally on a kind of cacio e pepe improved (or bastardized) by bacon bits and cabbage, because... cabbage. Good enough to serve to company if I ever see people again.

You can start squash seeds by just shoving them in the dirt and keeping it wet/damp for a few days. Ok to do it in direct sunlight.

I thought it was here that I saw a “Mexican” lasagna that was made in a 9" springform, with corn tacos, salsa, cheeses, sour cream, beef or sausage in layers. There must have been some sort of béchamel, too. Then the whole thing was baked for a while and served like pie slices.

Southern ladies (whose judgment I also respect) told me always to start with any cold pork in a cold oven. The bacon warms up as the oven heats, and I found that there is less curling. In a restaurant where I was dishwasher-in-chief, they put the bacon on parchment paper overnight and started it in a cold oven in the

It has been said that Governor DeSantis is the primary cause of the toilet paper shortage.  People all over America are watching and saying, “What a giant asshole!”

You don’t get the same reminder prompts that iOS throws up on Android”

What makes you think they wanted to boil water? Hunter-gatherers could cook meat on a stick (but why would they do that? Raw was just fine) and they ate whatever was growing nearby - fresh off the bush or the tree.

“...adding more butter if needed...”.  What kind of silly talk is this?  Of course it needs more butter.  Gnocchi, spaetzle, pyzy...  it seems the essential ingredient is a grandmother who is either an immigrant or first-generation...

“It all started to fall apart as quickly as it began”... like the rest of Perry’s scripts. Still working through those issues, Tyler? Perry normally chooses men with bigger arms, but if you only have 5 days to knock something out,...

Every time Starr’s name is mentioned, it should be noted that he was fired from his position as University President for failing to assist women who had been sexually assaulted.  Pam Bondi got a campaign donation and decided not to prosecute Trump University.  Dershowitz has made a few lucky calls, but his fame is

Think Animal Crackers as a comparative taste. And you “3-second dunkers” are not fooling the rest of us. We know you want the cracker to “accidentally” sink down into thE milk so that you are forced to add several more on the ground that the milk is contaminated with cracker, anyway. Then, you are forced (no matter

Feels like TP is working out his personal conflicts in the scripts. Sometimes it’s almost embarrassing to see characters in drag, closeted men, impossibly cruel women, disapproving parents. Most of the characters have really impressive bodies and of course that’s just exactly like the rest of society - All the men

The difference between the best 85.69 and the worst 74.4 is pretty small.

I use one of those mesh bags that onions arrive in. It lets the stuff dry. We don’t have 38 toys in the tub - maybe 3 or 4.

My Lithuanian grandmother used beef broth possibly from oxtails, beets, beet stems, but not the leaves (I never asked). Once served, she stirred in sour cream and it turned a lovely pink. I very much doubt that she ever saw a lemon before she came to America, so no lemon juice. Salt and pepper.

If more people had chosen to vote in certain states, Trump would not have won.

That’s why we never wash or rinse our dishes with hot water.  Oh wait.

Some of those businesses will be closing after the holidays, so they know this is a highly-profitable time and they plan to take advantage of that.  Then, they will say, “Oh poor me, I’m barely making it” and walk away with a pocketful of change.  I hope the staff gets some kind of security, because they wouldn’t be
