When I evacuated last night and this morning, it was bonkers* already. Area I live in is calling mandatory EVAC stating Saturday am. Hotels had no vacancy, insane lines at gas stations, I95 was a parking lot at times. Gas station closest to my house was completely out, but others were open and had gasoline available.

One simply does not use a Rocky Horror reference without getting a star from me.

Where in the world is this!?

I’ve responded with “the price it’s listed at.”

Who does their manufacturing?

I bought my Chrysler T&C and found out after buying it, it had the el cheapos put on right before sale. I couldn’t even stand to run them down. Horrible. Noisy and ridiculous brake dust. Napa Premium Rotors snd Napa Adaptive One pads, its exponentially better now (Got a great deal through work from Napa!).

As a service manager ,… It is always interesting to me how brand seems to make such a difference. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen cars misfire with brand X correctly gapped with the correct part numbers. Put brand Y in? Runs like a champ.

When I worked/lived in the Richmond Virginia area, I managed a quick-lube outside some lower income areas for a while. We had a lot of customers with cars from one of those “we finance anybody” places. To start them, you had to turn the key to the on position and wait for two distinct beeps before cranking the

Before I ever saw that scene in Final Destination about the logs coming off a log truck,…they used to put me on edge.

Eh, my daily driver Forester has one. Works okay, but I don’t like all the bulk bc I’d rather add on a larger mirror for better rear visibility. In my minivan I’ve got a Broadway clip-on Murrow (much larger than factory) that I’ve had for many, many years. Put in several vehicles. Yeah yeah, I was 16 and it was a “jdm

I ❤️️Milano red. If only it didn’t seem to fade seemingly in front of your eyes when the sun hits it ,…

I use the Overdrive app. I log in through my local library and I can download audiobooks for free. There is a loan period just like actually checking out a physical copy, of course.

Secretly admitting? I had a minivan in my late 20s (ahem, I’m under 33). Still have it. I’ll shout from the rooftops how much I love it. Having children is considered a lifestyle choice. I don’t know what the hell is so wrong with having a a vehicle that is designed for efficient family hauling , when that is what is

I’ve got to ask, as a fellow road tripper with smaller children,…

Yes and help support other gearheads.

And some have laughable laws or rules. Virginia state inspection only requires 2/32" of tread and brake friction material for an annual inspection.

In my home state of Virginia there was a farmer that sold a bunch of land next to an outdoor shooting range. Naturally, it became a a huge patch of McMansions. Despite being long established and very successful, the shooting range was subjected to ever increasing regulations from all the new residents raising hell

Even if he didn’t, it’s posted on Twitter and this article is also citing USA Today. So not really a secret either way, haha.
