I dated a girl older than me in high school. She got her license several months before me and often picked me up in her dad’s 1986 Suburban 4x4 (with fiberglass top, at 6’ I could stand up in the back!). She drove it to my house just fine. Then I’d illegally drive us to whatever we were getting into. I too, drove it

Because of my personal situation, unfortunately I’m doomed to have at least one vehicle that falls under the umbrella of “some type of automatic” and can hold a lot of kids. So for that vehicle, I just want reliability and longevity. I don’t care if it’s a traditional style “antiquated” automatic or whatnot. I’m leery

People are stupid. I can’t say I’m surprised that idiots couldn’t grasp the concept of a cvt actually acting like,…oh I don’t know, a CVT?

Well,…It is the internet, LOL.

I personally don’t settle for it ,… unfortunately, I don’t represent the entirity the market of new car sales. So myself and many other are screwed by the same idiots that don’t even buy sedans anymore because they all want SUVs. The same idiots that take out mini mortgages on new car purchases,…

Well, Nissan CVT in particular aren’t exactly reliable or known for their longevity.

Oh, I gotcha now. That sucks. I didn’t realize you mean like body damage or safety hazards.

Until she expects him to keep making money off it or asks why he doesn’t anymore because that one time with that one car he did so why can’t he do it more,… “why not just continue to make money on/off cars, you do like cars, right babe?” … etc

How many miles and in what condition?

Easy. Money =\= common sense.

How do you know they don’t have a dealer license and run like an LLC based on their home address? Just wondering.

Ive read them from time to time. It’s been a while, but I appreciated what they had to say. I value resources and information but always question anything as “absolute”. Especially if I’m no expert or something in the topic- I may read around other sources. My personal issue is that many people treat CR as absolute.

There’s no way a 1.0EB 3 cylinder isn’t more powerful than stock on this,…boost and gas mileage for days!

Hah! Take a star, you earned it.

I feel like they should have just approached the market different. Not “green/eco/earth friendly” , how about earth shattering turbo torque power for a truck with a v6 and new technology? It’d have had way better reception and sales imho.

Indeed- I own a Subaru 2.5L H-4. Toyota also made a 2.7L I-4. Still considered large displacement for a 4 cylinder.

Depends on where you live and your commute. Many years ago in what feels like a different lifetime in south central Virginia- I had a lot of twisty backroads I could get to work on. Most locals avoided them because there were more direct paths. I also lived for years in the Blue Ridge Mountains in farm land. ~10

That sounds like a fun truck.

It wasn’t as large or as capable as the true full sized trucks available at the time. Mid-sized, sure. Not truly a full sized. Tundra, Ram, Ford F-Series, GM C/K, Sienna/Silverado, Titan. Those are full size.
