Arg. Those are fun in stock form or appropriately modified. Albeit the beak is hideous!

Eh, posers look for catching attention. How many beyond real or dedicated enthusiasts notice what type of tires are on a vehicle?

How or what do you measure “crappy” by? I had an EF hatch/4th gen Honda Civic that pulled a 12.60@108mph in all motor guise (on pump gas). It could consistently pull 12.60s-12.80s pending on conditions. It had factory EF red paint (overall decent shape). Lowered with gold rims and yes, a tow hook.

I’ve ridden in one in the wild ,…(does that count if it’s a family friend owned car?)

Airbag light- In Virginia, the SRS/Airbag light will fail a vehicle for state inspection. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen or heard where the light come on and off randomly , had it diagnosed to no avail,…

We made slide shows on Windows 95(was that PPT back then?) in school,…around that age I remember playing the original sim city and that skiing game where the Yeti eats you,…also, Wolfenstien!

For $00.00 , that is more than okay with me!

For $00.00 , that is more than okay with me!

Millennial here. I’d much rather be able to put in whatever aftermarket head unit I want, that way when the inevitable happens and the system is way outdated, it’s easy to upgrade in my driveway with basic tools.

“Good deal” ?

“Good deal” ?

Easy. I made the effort to come there for a specific deal, at least gives me the opportunity to get said deal or better*. Take the time to look for alternatives.

For me the reply would be extremely easy. Pull out smart phone, pull up email, this is what you said. I’m setting a timer for 10 minutes and going in autotrader.com while I wait. If you don’t come back with this OR LESS THAN THIS, I leave and never return.

Around here it’s the opposite. I don’t know why, ever since I’ve moved to the mountains, I’ve noticed a couple of horrible trends. People love to pull out RIGHT in front of me when I’m literally the only car around and in sight(often I have to brake pretty hard). People also love to go under the speed limit. All.

Edit: nevermind. I think I misread your post originally. Sorry.

Weird. In my home state of Virginia when you cross a state line into it there is always signs that say “burn headlights with wipers, state law”( don’t remember exact words). I always assumed we were a rarity doing that because they felt the need to post signs, haha. Out of habit I always do when traveling anyway ,…

Weird. I never heard of that one. When I had my XJ I did have people that thought it was a super old JGC. I also had people that thought I had swapped in the manual transmission, “because it’s an SUV. Why is it a manual?”

Ah, totally forgot about that. I’ve driven some customer cars with that, but only in the daytime.

But the gauges don’t light up ,…? At least mine don’t unless I turn on at least the parking lights.

In Virginia we are required to turn on our low beams when using our wipers due to rain. State law. My DRLs are my low-beam lights, just ran at a lower voltage(when I turn regular headlights on, the same bulbs that are on for DRLs burn brighter). So I freely admit to just turning parking lights on in the rain because

On a similar note,...As a former XJ owner,...I can NOT stand the constant mix-up between Jeep Cherokee and Jeep GRAND Cherokee. I was always on the look-out for used parts (specifically a trailer hitch) and 9/10 “Jeep Cherokee” parts on places like CL, are ZJ not XJ parts. They are not the same! I just saw a “Jeep
