Thanks- I must have missed that originally when i read it. Still bonkers to me!

Wow, based on that I have to wonder if he didn’t spot law enforcement & apparently slow down because of that, if we’d be talking about how a guy in a Camaro managed to kill himself going at high speeds…thanks for sharing that. Interesting.

Keyboard warrior? Did I threaten to kick somebody’s ass? You asked. I answered.

People with savings accounts? People planning for the future? People not drowning in debt? (Also, as Lebrons hair line said- people with expensive toys like the Camaro in this article)

I don’t know all the math and physics well enough, so I’ll take another commenter’s word for it when (s)he said it would take a full football field to get the Camaro down to 100MPH.

Bullshit. Unless I’m misunderstanding. The story, even if Padden was in his car idling when he clocked the Camaro and immediately pursued him, still have to account for acceleration of the police vehicle & that he is claiming a speed of 36MPH slower than the Camaro. Unless cops in Minnesota are running around in cars

Good luck with the search. Mine was really clean, minor exterior/cosmetic issues. Interior was great except the typical headliner falling down thing. (Got this little headliner screws at O’reilly to hold it up).

Why do you only mention 5sp for the sport model? Just wondering. I don’t know all the options available- did they not do manual transmission for the other trim leveled? My old manual trans one was a sport 4x4.

I had one. I got a few offers from people at gas stations who saw me driving and asked if it was a manual/6 banger. I even found a couple notes on it asking to buy it from time to time. When I put it on Craigslist I had several offers within a few hours, fastest I’ve ever sold a vehicle.

What routine maintenance? I changed all the fluids, end to end on my old ‘97 sport 4x4 manual when I first bought it. I also did plugs + wires+dist cap + rotor button, replaced sensors in the TB & removed that and disassembled it to clean it all out. I didn’t think it was too awful, but just about anything outside of

I loved my old XJ, but I didn’t find mine easy to work on, either. I always felt it was a bit of a pain in the butt, …

My XJ was 14 years old when I bought it, sold it years later,…Solid all the way around, no rust, was ran hard everyday I owned it and even ended up commuting 70 miles a day in it for a while,…wasn’t awful to drive for a 4x4 SUV, did excellent at everything I ever asked of it. Including runs across the blue ridge

Star for Goonies reference

Unless I missed it, he didn’t say the appropriate head wasn’t retrieved from the other customer when the shop notified them of their error. At least I hope they notified the other customer of their error and asked that they swap them back out and apologized …:-o

What in the ,…Besides the obvious stupidity of not knowing about the models,…Doesn’t an SI cost more and would therefore net more commission?

I gave you a star,…Only because I can’t give you more than 1 star.

Detail shops do that when customers ask to have their engines cleaned/detailed*.It’s likely he had a professional detail before all the photos. /justsaying

NA CA18!? Good grief,… I thought the KA24DE was slow

For a s13? I’m very partial to red hatch with pop up headlights.*

Running XJs for $300!? How much does transport to USA cost? 🤔
