Exactly so on all points. I can do just about anything short of finish body work. This can’t be harder than changing a clutch in a ‘66 E-Type (first step in manual: Remove engine.). We’re lookin’ at a V8 manual S4 ‘vert! For me the only time the top goes up on any convertible I’ve owned is if it’s raining. We’re not

The only time the roof goes up on any of my convertibles is if it’s raining. Or the spousal unit requests it. 30 degrees out? That’s what hats and gloves are for. At least here in NorCal...

Great Pics, KL! I like the outfit too!

Fortunately it is on the other coast from me. Thank God for small favors...

I’ve had several (something like eight) of the 034 chassis Audi’s from an ‘84 5000 sedan to my current ‘90 200 20v Avant. They’re pretty bulletproof until about 200k. Yeah, stupid shit like window switches and the climate control actuator box fuck up along the way but I’ve never been stranded (yeah damning with faint

Dammit. I hate it when I get coffee in my eyes and they get wet like that...

A coupla things: First of all, these are Models we’re talkin’ ‘bout. Not exactly the tallest buildings in the city. What in the eff do you expect?

Exactly.

Oh. My. Goodness. Thank you for all that Kurt. Great stuff!

Fuckin’ Hell! Thank you Kurt! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

Part of the reason they haven’t caught on with the enthusiast community is because they’re Fugly. I tried to talk my wife into one for the very reason others here have bought them: great around town car. She saw one and said, and I quote: “No fuckin’ way. It’s stupid looking.” And she’s not really a car person.

The sad thing is what happened to it at the end of the movie.

Thanks Alanis. Just Fookin’ Thanks...

Exactly. In Quebec, they’re offended when you try to talk in Quebecois and in France they appreciate the effort. Montreal seemed to be better than the rest of the province to me but that’s probably because I look stupid or something...

Yeah, the food was exquisite. Pastries at the corner bakery beat the pants off the highest end bakery you’ll find in MOST American cities.

Me too. Three times in Paris for a total of about 2 weeks and four times in Montreal for a total of 6 days. I should’ve put a ;o)> on that. Kind of...

I think you’re overestimating the culture. And underestimating the attitude.

Thank you KL. My day is now complete...

I have a long history of running the tank dry but this time I didn’t get stranded and it involved a magic Alfa Romeo.

This is great, Alanis! I can completely understand the problem. If you’re bringing your mom to the track, make sure the hooptie is at least competitive. Losing sucks. You should know this...
