I get this and I used to blast through leaf piles all the time. At speed. And then, about 25 years ago, I read about someone doing a leaf blast that had two little boys hiding in it. I stopped.

So how’s this 180 large better than the ZL1-1LE (dang that’s hard to type!)? I believe you can score the street version for a 80 large so there better be some considerable amount of prep going on here. Alanis sez it gets better suspension and I would imagine a roll cage along with a better seat. I can fit a shit load…
2001, at the start of a 3.5 week vacation/trip around Europe. The trip was rather loosely planned but the first week or so was a little more tight than the rest. We landed in Frankfurt, rented a VW Golf TDI wagon that was to be our steed for the entire trip. I’ve had a few oil burners and this one was the most like a…
Here’s the tip for sanitizing them: Keep a little squeeze bottle of bleach next to the sink and when it’s time to clean water bottle (should be every day) squirt a little bleach into the bottle and rinse with hot water. Then into the dishwasher. No more stinky bottles and since we started doing this a coupla years ago…

Yeah, I actually scrolled through lookin’ for pitchers of Alanis’ Mom before I read anything after the third paragraph...
I totally feel your pain, Alanis. The articles you’ve posted about ghost tracks around the country bring this place into stark relief.
Part of me is sorry he’s in Michigan. All of my wife is GLAD he’s in Michigan. I’m in California...

Excellent insight into the local scene. I appreciate the “on the ground” viewpoint especially from someone obviously screwed into the political end of it.
Amazing job Kristen! You’ve got a pretty good racket going there! Makes me wonder what I did last weekend that was so important that I missed this. That had to be an amazing time!
That’s not a ‘68. The last year for covered headlights was ‘67.
Where you at? I’d love to stop by and experience a real car night like that...
+1 on this one too. Game changer. And I’ve owned several of them since the mid 80's. Best car ever. When they’re running...
+1. I’ve owned three of them and currently drive a Mk1 GTI powered caddy. For the vast majority of us who actually buy these things to use as trucks, they are probably all the truck we need and drive way better than any other truck of the era. One of the original principals of Factory Five is selling a conversion kit…
1. Yes. Absolutely no doubt.
Any time you can be in the same general area as Sir Jackie Stewart, it’s a good day...
