Yeah, like 50k...
Yeah, like 50k...
Yeah, pricing on the 996's compared to the 997's is insane. On the SFBA Craigs, there are many 996's from about 10k to 25k. The first decent looking 997 comes up at 39k. And that’s a 2005. Anything newer is well over 40 large. Obviously if you want a 911, the 996 is the way to go.
That’s Great writing right there. Excellent job, Jeff. Thank you...
Here’s a problem with these Preludes: What constitutes a Type SH? A look at the SFBA Craigs and there are 15 Prelude “SH” ads. None of them have the trunk sticker. Only one has some pitchers of the undercarriage and I don’t see an ATTS unit there. I will say that seeing this post has me lookin’ at one of these again.…
They did a bit later. It’s called the S2000.
Boats. Racing in the Double-Handed Farallons Sailboat Race 25 years ago on a guy’s Trimaran. The Farallons is about 30 miles from the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco and the race is to the islands and back.
Morris Minors had a crank that fit through a hole in the bumper to a fitting in the crank bolt. My first four cars were Minors and at one point or another each of them got started with the crank. The joys of being 16 and broke...
In 1977, my GF at the time (future wife of now 40 years) and I were driving my 1967 Datsun 2000 roadster from San Jose to my grandparent’s place in Ferndale, CA for a family get together; a 315 mile road trip. In preparation for the trip I’d rebuilt the entire brake system on the car.
It’s the idiots from SoCal moving up here. They get in the left lane on THE 880 or THE 280 (yeah, prefixing all freeways with “THE” bugs me too) and drive just like they do on THE 405 or THE 210 or...
Yay for me! I finally got one of my NCoCP nominations accepted! Thanks Rob!
In my estimation, you earned it. This line: “The Type 35 was a beautiful animal, but it wasn’t alone in those interwar years when, by all available evidence, everybody who survived WWI either felt invincible or were a hard “yes” on the idea of blowing through the pearly gates backwards and on fire.”
I nominate this for COTD.
Pictures would be quite awesome. Quite.
Exactly. Nail. Hammer. Head.
Yeah, I know. I was mostly tongue in cheek on that but having owned four NA’s in years past, they’re still pretty bulletproof and once you get stuff fixed they stay that way. Of course the “Go Racing” button will make shit break constantly...
Mostly because he’s looking for a car “To Work On”. Unless you’re putting a K24 or a 5.0 in it, there isn’t a lot of work to be done.
Yeah, how ‘bout that?
Is it OK to kiss on the first date?
LOL... Guys (and gals) let’s not raise the “Electoral College lost the election for Hill” card. I believe it is reasonable to suggest everybody knew the metric for winning the election was Electoral College votes based on individual states NOT popular vote. Every time someone brings that up, it just makes the Clinton…
