Honestly, that’s pretty innocuous compared to pretty much every other picture and clip I’ve seen of the two of them together. Of course, the fact that it looks like he is deliberately putting her hand on his leg while manspreading is pretty fucking gross.

Acknowledgment of complicity / guilt can be a dodge in place of meaningful action, or it can be a first step followed by meaningful action. It’s the meaningful action that tells you something about the sincerity and intentions.

My 12 year old nerdy kid had a sleepover with three other 12 year old boys. I heard a lot of what they said (because god DAMN are they loud) and some of it was really problematic. Yeah, it was my kid and yeah, there were consequences.
