The only fools were the captain and the boating company who still allowed business to happen that day. It’s unfair to assume that customers of any kind of tourism or activity like this, know anything about boating. Cause most times they don’t. They put all their trust in the captain to know what’s right.

Most people don’t have experience boating and don’t realize that boats aren’t immune to that type of weather, especially on a lake. Thoughts and Prayers. 

You can’t grind gears when there’s none to be found.

If one of my daughters were to tell me something like this, my first instinct would be to grab the sharpest or heaviest instrument I could find and annihilate the perpetrator.

Some ignore it. They’ve think, “So and so would never do something like that” or chalk it up to an overactive imagination.  Some of these parents were victimized themselves.  It’s brutal.
