Can’t blame Fillion for hanging around ... Piggy is hot.
Can’t blame Fillion for hanging around ... Piggy is hot.
Can’t blame Piggy. Fillion is hot.
Thank you for this, George. I had to quit what I did for a living my whole life because of “minor” physical problems. So I took up unskilled menial labor in my 40s. Now I have “major” physical problems. I’ve never had insurance, still don’t, but I’ve also never applied for any kind of assistance or unemployment…
Please for the love of god let that Doctor Who rumor be true.
Just when the pain has finally almost disappeared....someone brings up Farscape and reopens the wound. Damn you, Sci-Fi!!!!!!!!! :(
Hellboy: The Series - Coming Soon to Netflix (source: my wildest dreams)
A week after Ron Perlman’s death— may it be decades from now!— he’ll still be tweeting about Hellboy 3.
I don’t care how good Force Awakens is. If they kill off Han Solo or even Chewie, (clearly being done only for dramatic effect) then this movie and everything Disney does beyond it can go fuck themselves - to infinity and beyond!
Only property where a con like that would be worse is Firefly where it turns out it’s the cast all just sitting outside watching a bunch of fireflies for 4 hours.
“Oh yeah we only picked it up for the 5 part run and we’re going to air them out of order because fuck the lot of you”.
Let’s be honest, we’d all watch either/both of those shows obsessively and enjoy the hell out of them. The only truly evil long con would be the announcement that actually, we only picked this up as a 5-part miniseries.
The Muppets Tonight cover of “Rock Lobster” is easily up there with old Muppet Show stuff. But I don’t remember anything else, so I guess that about covers it.
Which is why I’m not writing this off immediately, but I do think “well it almost started that way” is a bad justification. This could work, and the stuff so far us funny, but like it or not The Muppets is an established family brand at this point. Starting out bluer would have been one thing, shifting that direction…
I love the Muppets, but I have concerns about this. Sone good jokes in there to be sure, but the idea of “an adult Muppet show”... we’ll see. There’ve always been jokes for adults in the Muppets, but not generally to the exclusion of kids. If they’re just going to push toward being more edgy with the humor, that’s…
I agree. That's just not Kermit.
Then to me, that’s a problem. And it’s not because I’m prudish, because before we had kids, I told my wife, “I don’t care what words they use as long as they use them in appropriate situations and they are grammatically correct”. To me, it’s a problem because the Muppets, if they’re going to aim for any standard of…
He’s a King Prawn
Rizzo and Gonzo are from the 70s as well. Pepe, however, is 90s and was much needed in this trailer. I love that little um..whatever he is...bastard.
We have ourselves to blame. They’re doing it that way for the same reason that all the old stuff it being aimed at us instead of kids - Transformers, GI Joe, TMNT, even comic book movies like the MCU stuff and the X-Men films to an extent. Definitely Batman. Because we created a culture where it’s socially acceptable…
Yeah, I really dislike the more adult Muppet Show concept. The Muppet Show was always intended more as a family show than a straight up kids show, but the idea that they would write “for adults” into the trailer kind of brings out what I didn’t like about the most recent films—that is, I am nearly 36 and I don’t want…
