If your heart is with Warren, vote for Warren. Period. This attitude has been hurting Warren all along, and we’ve literally only had voting in 4 states, none of them especially large.

She is only the second dropped-out candidate to make a primary endorsement.

In a few weeks I’m 100% with you but it’s too early to throw in the towel on Warren.  

I’ve had to vote that way for basically my entire adult lifetime - from Al Gore to Kerry (ok fine I voted green in ‘12, but I was dissapointed in most of Obama’s policies by that point) to HRC in 2016. I’m done with voting between hot shit and cold shit. I’ll vote my conscience, and won’t feel a shred of guilt for it.…

At this point, my main hope is that Biden convinces Warren to accept the VP slot.

Specifically, it’s going to be a plurality for Bernie Sanders, and these behind-the-scenes shenanigans will be used as additional justification to choose Biden anyway, who will then go on to lose to Trump, who will destroy human civilization in his second or third term. Oh well.

This has been pointed out to Jez writers before but they conveniently ignore it because it doesn’t fit their irrational-hatred-of-Pete-Davidson agenda. Nor does the fact that with his mental health issues, it makes sense for him to have a close relative living nearby. 

I actually thought it was pretty funny, and I went into the special with the same reservations. He starts with a great joke/story about Louis CK, which was the highlight for me. The special is under 50 minutes, so no big commitment even if you end up not liking it.

I think it’s important to note that Pete lives in the basement of the house he bought for his mom, not just “his mom’s basement.”

I think that looks very much like somewhere a single 26 year old dude would live. Hell, it was even cleaner and better organized than I would have imagined.

He was not my first, second or probably even third choice, and he did get a lot of criticism, but looking back he also got a lot of shit for things that pale in comparison to some of the undesirable things about other leading candidates.

Gay men’s assumptions about their rights over women’s bodies are a real thing we should talk about, but if he wanted it to be a joke he probably should have made it funny.
