As a shorter man, I see the height requirements in profiles and know that I’m mostly filtered out. That’s just reality. Are there any statistics that taller women might be more open to a relationship with a shorter man considering they face similar bias?

My kids are in an Arizona district being strict about keeping the opening date, but virtual. I fear it’s a transition to 100% virtual which was a disaster and most parents can’t manage. They won’t push back the opening which is as pigheaded as insisting they open 100% in person.

Why can’t we just delay? Why does it have to be virtual?

This sounds so dumb, but I was thinking about making old soap slivers into new soap - reconstituted bar soap. Many of the recipes ask for double boilers but it seems like this could be easily accomplished sous vide.

It’s not just steak - in fact I’ve never made steak with mine. I made perfect hollandaise last week with zero effort. My favorite is “smoked” turkey breast where it comes out better than should be possible. It’s not a miracle device, but what you can make with it can be pretty impressive.

IQF on a baking sheet. Frozen solid. 3:00 on 7/10 and it reheated alright, but the texture was a bit stiff. I suspect that’s the cheese. It was still tasty but not quite the same as from fridge to microwave.

I made variations this weekend and the recipe is legit. I made gouda - red pepper - smoked turkey. Next to see how they microwave from frozen.
