For anyone wondering what the Mach cutoff is:

That is absolutely crazy money, no matter how rare. What’s the upmarket version of New Balance and jorts

Ironically, ATGATT probably has done more to kill my love of riding than anything else. I live in SoCal, I just cannot be assed to dress for riding AND haul all my shit around everywhere I go, since you cannot just leave a fucking helmet with the bike when they all cost $600 now. Toss in traffic and the size wars and

But the sticker doesn’t say ‘fascist’; it says ‘crazy’. The cave rescue was, IMO, the final straw that tipped him from eccentric to tissue-paper-box-slippers

Admittedly, Volvo’s factory-default top speed limiter is a bummer but I wouldn’t call 0-60 in 4.1 seconds “far from fast”, especially for a family car.

this car has been through the ringer

Please, Bradley... it’s “WRINGER”.

People with 911 Turbos and $120K to spend on another toy don’t need the plebs to be offering advice. They’re just trolling to show off their wealth.

Nissan is like the online dating profile that says, “I used to be a 7, now I’m a 4, but I still act like I’m a 9.”

Nissan - never change. Foxconn is SO much a better choice than being a Honda subsidiary.

Remember in 2008 when Microsoft tried to buy Yahoo! for $40 billion? But Yahoo! refused, because their management and company was just so (what’s the word?) awesome. And then, just a few years ago, Yahoo! was sold to Verizon for only $4.8 billion?

Oh look, they’re still missing the point.

Actually did get a maint item done that cropped up.

Too much for this car. If they think it is worth $105k, they should put it on BAT with no reserve and see what it brings.

Volvo C30: Needs a new coolant expansion tank (mine is showing signs of spiderwebbing that look like cracks waiting to happen) along with new motor and transmission mounts. Might throw on some new shocks and struts as well.

A good cleaning. Finally install 2 engine mounts sitting in my closet. Finish painting the wheels. General mini-detail and freshening in anticipation of possible sale by end of year. If car prices skyrocket and/or economy tanks, I’ll hang on to it. (appearing likely)

Shockingly this is in the right ballpark of what these go for in this good of shape (low miles and well maintained). It is interesting how a “cheap” Phantom is like 70-80k now, but the Bentley Continental has depreciated down to basically nothing. It seems these really do have a lot of lasting appeal.
