I think he did a bad job keeping Rick Smith around for as long as he did and said some stupid things recently.  But death is sad to mostly any family, so my condolences.

Jesus christ. I’m a white guy. Another white guy family member tried giving me the whole “democrats framed a good man” diatribe last week and I just shut that shit down immediately.

At a college football game last year, surrounded by mostly other white people, this chubby vanilla maga hat type sitting next to me

I can understand the struggle for some to understand how someone they know in one way could possibly behave in another way. Surely we’ve all been there in one way or another with our friends and family.

I’m working the booth at an event a few weeks back, and as happens, I start some small talk with a man and a woman at the booth next to mine. It’s your basic stuff: where do you work? How old are your kids? How do you like your job? Etc.

My take on Windhorst, after having watched him thirstily chase LeBron James around since he was 14 years old: Windhorst is essentially the nerdy kid in school who desperately wants to be friends with the jocks and cool kids, so he does their homework for them, and the cool kids let him hang around while mostly

I have about five people in my office right now, but they can’t see my screen.  By typing this comment I seem hard at work.

Is he really one of the most well-respected NBA reporters in the business? I’ve always known him as the The Guy Who Only Covers LeBron. Like, the dude’s career was made by covering James in Akron, then Cleveland, then he followed him to Miami, and then back to Cleveland. He’s been ESPN’s guy on the LeBron Beat since

I appreciate his desire to branch out after strong performances in Superbad and The Wolf of Wall Street, but the skateboarding movie kind of fell flat, IMO.

I actually sort of understand his reticence to come forward with information that would upset Lebron and his crew. If he was forthright, it would probably impact them giving him tips and that is how Caddies make the bulk of their money.

The Barf Bag...always the Barf Bag.

No Trump and Fox News is still off Twitter?

Who usually wins? You or Barf Bag?

It’s so refreshing not to have a massive list of still-loading tweets to try to scroll past before they manage to load! This is the best Barf Bag ever!

Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi has requested that there be no audience or media presence at her debate with Democratic runoff challenger Mike Espy.

There are certainly interesting regional variations, but I’ll bet that if you look closely (which I haven’t), supper as the term for the evening meal tracks pretty closely to rural/historically agricultural areas.

So did my grandparents, who grew up on a farm and ranch respectively.

That’s interesting. My grandma used to refer to lunch as “dinner” and used “supper” to signify the evening meal. I always thought it was weird, but it turns out she was right!

Fun fact: Dinner and supper are two different things. Dinner is the largest meal of the day, whereas supper is the evening meal. For most of us, this is the same meal, but in ye olde agricultural days, dinner was the meal that you ate in the middle of the day so that you would have energy to finish your work, while
