Future BOOK SPOILERS:
I haven't understood it that she identifies more with Black Jack Randall, just that all of these characters are part of her, even the evil ones.
Continuing SPOILER book talk:
Hey Kelly, don't know if you have seen this, but Ron Moore mentioned reading an article you wrote about Outlander in an interview yesterday in Adweek.
You are right, it is all beautiful. I can't really knit, and I want to knit a cowl!
This, from Outlander.
BOOK SPOILERS
Chapter 14, I believe, is where the wedding takes place, so start there.
Yeah, the Black Dagger Brotherhood is fun!
Cherise Sinclair has a good series of books about a BDSM club. The first is called Club Shadowlands, and the first volume is a free ebook at Amazon. My favorites are later in the series.
Yeah, Jondalar. Many happy memories there. The last couple of books in the series were horrible, but the first few were great.
One nice thing about Outlander is that they have great sex, even as they get older. As a person in my fifties, it is nice to read about people having sex who aren't just in their 20s. (Also, the sex is realistic - i.e. having to use some lubrication because of older lady menopause dryness - but it is still hot.)
The Scottish Prisoner has Jamie and Lord John. It was pretty good. It is best to read anytime after book 3.
Judging by the preview (and my book reading) - yes, they do.
Outlander and many of the actors/actresses/producers have Twitter accounts. A lot of them mentioned this. (The actor who plays Rupert is pretty funny on his Twitter account.) Yesterday was apparently the 202nd day of filming, and they are having a wrap party tonight.
I have already rewatched it an embarrassing number of times.
On Ron Moore's podcast for this episode, they said that the reflection was not special effects, just serendipity (like the wind rising when they were filming Claire near the stones).

I read somewhere today that there are about 20 yards of fabric in the dress, and that they had to get Claire a bench to lean on between takes because it is so heavy. They also had to drive her around in a modified golf cart because she can't walk far in it.
I have read the books, and Murtagh is not really sexy in them. Just one of the nice changes for the TV show. Give me a bearded man in a kilt, with a Scottish accent, and I am swooning. Graham McTavish, who plays Dougal, is also a fine specimen. He really is doing a wonderful job playing Dougal.
